Sweeten your mouth with delicious Brigadeiros which are Brazil's most popular and beloved sweet that many people have never tried before. They are chewy, creamy, sweet and delicious.

Brigadeiro is a traditional sweet in Brazil which is made of condensed milk. It is popular confection throughout the country, especially for festive events and was created by a confectioner from Rio de Janeiro, Heloisa Nabuco de Oliveira.
The most popular story is that the name "BRIGADEIRO" comes from Eduardo Gomes who was a brazilian politician and Brigadier who was a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in 1946.
Heloisa who supported the brigadeiro's candidacy, created a new confection, and named it for the candidate. The doce de brigadeiro (brigadier's sweet) became popular, and the name was eventually shortened to just "brigadeiro." Despite the support received, Eduardo Gomes was defeated, and the election was won by then General Eurico Gaspar Dutra.

We are Maris ja Silmara, estonian and brazilian, whose common love for Brazilian food, music and culture led us to create Brigadeiros OÜ in the summer of 2019. We have both lived in Brazil and in Estonia and when we discovered that nobody offers these delicious sweets here, we knew that we would want to bring this sweet and heavenly taste of Brazil to Estonia. This is how our little company started, while being the first official sellers in the Estonian market. From there, we have only grown further, constantly offering new taste experiences with new and original recipes. We use Brazilian recipes and adapt them to Estonian flavors by adding local ingredients and berries to them. We make all our candies fresh and 100% handmade while packing them with great care and love!
